By now, I think people all over the world already know who is Jim Carrey is, the successfully and legendary comedian actor of all time. But I’m not sure if there are many people already visit his website. If you got time, maybe you can visit the Official Website of Jim Carrey. It got a type of crazy, wacky and weird design with the gothic and disturbing background sound. Furthermore, it got it own sense of surrealism concept in the design. Weird world of Jim Carrey, isn’t it?

The weirdest thing happened to me a few weeks ago. I was panhandling at Dundas&University, Toronto, and a guy who looked just like Jim Carrey walked by. Normally celebrity sightings don’t stress me; I compliment them, ignore them, sidestep the gaggle of admirers, whatever the situation calls for. But I couldn’t think of anything clever to say, in spite of holding a sign that said “YES!! I’ll take a job” with a list of academic credentials (I was actually having terrible luck with it.) I was rehearsing my sob story, when I rememberedsomething a friend told me about how Jim had done a standup bit, spoofing those reality shows where people cry about their abuse issues. (No, I don’t have any of those. I’m not an addict either. I’m just having some financial problems.) So my friend had told me that Jim had actually made such an awful issue funny. Like the Jewish comedians who can kick antisemitic ass with their wit, that is the mark of a gifted comic.
So let’s just say it was an awkward moment. I couldn’t be pathetic enough OR funny enough in the presence of such a dude!! He walked by and I couldn’t even work up the nerve to ask for an autograph:-(
So hindsight’s got me surfing now, trying to figure out if that could have really been him. Weird eh?
