Can’t you believe it? The Voltron live-action movie will be a reality soon. I bet this must be something to do with the success of Transformers movie. Transformers movie has shown and open the path to more robotic or giant robots films. This Voltron movie will be produced by Atlas Entertainment (Charles Roven, Richard Suckle and Steve Alexander) together with Kickstart Entertainment (Jason Netter) and World Events (Ted Koplar). What a synergy effort to beat Michael Bay’s Optimus Prime and BumbleBee!! Autobotox, rooaaammmm!!!!

For those not familiar with this famous 80′s cartoon series along side Thundercats and M.A.S.K, Voltron is about a band of five robot lions who have the ability to combine together (“bersetubuh“) and form a giant robot warrior equipped with sword. Five pilots control the five robot lions and fight against Robobeats, the evil creatures of King Zarkon in order to protect their planet Arus. I remember during my schooldays, I got this sticker book of this cartoon. A whole complete set of story until King Zarkon is defeated. What a memory…sigh…
