The 11th Asian Cartoon Exhibition in Malaysia
Up from 25th October 2007 to 10th November 2007, there is an event called The 11th Asian Cartoon Exhibition with the theme “Asian Youth Culture” being held in Malaysia. This event has been organised by The Japan Foundation since 1995. The exhibition is held at Perpustakaan Kuala Lumpur and it is open from 10 am to 6 pm. 75 works from 10 cartoonists from 10 Asian nations such as Bangladesh, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, The Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and Sri Lanka will be display during the exhibition. Our country, Malaysia is represented by Tazidi Yusof who is the President of the Selangor Cartoonist Association (PEKARTUN).

From the photos shown above, don’t expect something like the latest manga or anime that you guys have during Karnival Komik or Comic Fiesta here. Seems like all the cartoons here are much more ‘behave’ and no bloody-gore-killing-machine theme. A nice thing to have something different this time. This is expected to be the last one so you might want to catch this one before it is too late.
