Finally, the official “Whiteout” movie poster is already out. This graphic novel adaptation film stars Kate Beckinsale (The Underworld Queen) as Carrie Stetko, Gabriel Macht, Shawn Doyle as Sam Murphy and this movie is directed by Dominic Sena. The tagline for this movie is “See Your Last Breath“. So, what the story or plot is about?

For you info, the “Whiteout” graphic novel is a comic book limited series (four issues) by writer Greg Rucka and artist Steve Lieber and published by Oni Press in 2008. In this adaptation, a U.S Marshall named Carrie Stetko (Kate Beckinsale) is assigned to Antarctica to investigate the continent’s first murder at Mc Murdo Station. She must solve it within three days before Antartica become total darknesss, day and night. The worst is, she might be stranded with the killer. Inside the comic, at earlier part, she loses two fingers due to severe cold-related injuries after being attacked by the killer and left for dead in a storm.
