Animatronics at ‘Backyard Monsters & Dinasours Are Back’ Exhibition

If you have nothing to do this weekend, maybe you can have a visit to the ‘Backyard Monsters and Dinasours Are Back’ Exhibition that is currently held at Mid Valley Exhibition Centre in Mid Valley Megamall, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The event is from 18th April 2009 to 17th May 2009 (around 1 month). Zoological Museum of the University of Copenhagen highly recommended this event since the public can learn, feel, experience, and discover the habitats in our backyard such as unicorn beetles, ants, tarantula, dragon fly and praying mantis. Beside that, the public also can understand the pre-historic dinasours such as T-Rex (Tyrannosaurus Rex). At there, we can see a lot of animatronics (the robotics animals) scattered around the place while moving its body part. In total, there will be 11 dinasours and 25 insects structures.
The ticket price is quite expensive which is RM12 for adult and RM8 for student and children below 18 years old. Below 4 is free. Oh, for your info, this exhibition is organized by F&R Exhibition and Conference Sdn Bhd and the exhibits come from Denmark. So, that’s why it’s quite expensive since those animals had to travel very far, huh?
If you would like to know more about this events, maybe you can visit:
1) Axcess.com.my where you also can buy the ticket online.
2) Article ‘Dinosaur exhibition captures visitors’ imagination’ from The Star.
3) The review ‘Backyard Monster & Dinasour’ from Vivien – My The Other Half blog. I recommend this one since she put a lot of photos during her visit there.
I wonder if Barney will also be there or not? Or shown being eaten alive by other dino? Ngeeeee….
