I just get to know about this Malaysian films and celebrity event from Amy Ikram blog. The event called ‘Hari Terbuka FINAS 2009′ will be held from 31st January 2009 to 1st February 2009 starting from 10am to 7pm. Means it will be this coming Saturday and Sunday!! The venue is at Finas (Perbadanan Kemajuan Filem Nasional Malaysia), Kompleks Studio Merdeka, Jalan Hulu Kelang, Ampang. Okay, so what’s the fun part? Weeellllll….

Firstly, there will be the screening of local movies such as ‘Histeria’, ‘Los dan Faun’ and ‘Cicakman 2: Planet Hitam’ at Pawagam Mini P. Ramlee. And it is FREE!! Woww!!

Secondly, there will also be the castings calls and auditions sessions. Some artists that will judge and evaluate you are A.R. Badul, Nanu Baharuddin, Ahmad Idham, Vanida Imran and Pierre Andre. You might want to try your luck and test your hidden talent here

Third, there are also seminars on the filming careers by SWAM, PPFM, SENIMAN and FDAM.

And the last one is the session with the local artists such as Farid Kamil, Riezman Khuzaimi, Irma Hasmie, Aaron Aziz, Kenchana Dewi, Dafi, Jehan Miskin and Liyana Jasmay. You might want to collect their autographs
