On Sunday, 19th April 2009, there will be a forum and convention called ‘Mini Forum & Konvensyen Sai Fai’ that will be held at Dewan Kedah/Johor, Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC). For your info, Sai Fai is a short form from ‘Fiksyen Sains & Fantasi’ or Science Fiction and Fantasy and the term is coined by Puan Ainon Mohd from PTS. For those who are into the Sci-Fi stuff ala Star Wars, Star Trek and Buck Rogers (?), this is the place for you guys. Free entry dudeeee….Oppsss, one more thing, please be reminded that the event is from 2 pm to 6 pm. So don’t miss it…

The topic of the forum is ‘Apresiasi Pengkarya Fiksyen Sains dan Fantasi Tempatan: Peluang dan Matlamat’ and the panel are Nisah Haron (writer and winner of Anugerah Sastera Berprestij Malaysia), Ahmad Patria Abdullah (Saga Artakusiad writer), Azhar Abdullah (President of PeKOMIK) and Nizam Zakaria (Director cum Scriptwriter of TV series). Quite a set of popular or soon-to-be popular panel.

For your info, this event is organized by Sai-Fai.com (the website is pretty simple) together with MBKM (Majlis Buku Kebangsaan Malaysia), PTS (PTS Publishing & Distributors Sdn Bhd) and PeKOMIK (Persatuan Penggiat Komik Malaysia).
