I’ve come across a topic in Pergh about a competition related to Manga in Malaysia called ‘The Original Manga Competition’. This competition is organized by the Putrajaya Arts Festival. The most important criteria is that the Manga must be truly, 100% original from you and it has never been published or displayed in front of public before. Don’t cheat mehhhh

Well, the prizes are quite exciting too where the top and best-of-the-best winner (1st Prize lah) will receive RM5000 plus one year comics subscription from KOMIK FACTORY. Another thing, the guys from the KOMIK FACTORY will be the one who will judge your work. If you are interested to join, you better be fast because the closing date is on 15th March 2008. Well, around two weeks more dude. Better sharpen your pencil and eat-drink-play manga.

In conjuction with this competition, there will also be a Manga Workshop on 22nd March 2008 at the Sri Garden International School or Nexus World-School in Precint 14, Putrajaya. Just pay RM20 and have a lot of fun enjoying the workshop. I’m not sure who will give the talk in the workshop. If you know, please put it in the comment
