I’ve just found out about one Flash course that will be held in Malaysia this coming February. For those who are the multimedia and Flash lover, you might just want to check this out. The title of this short course is ‘Flash Game Development: A 4-days Course on Designing and Developing Games Using Flash ActionScript‘. This course is organized by College of Information Technology (CoIT) which is in Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN), Malaysia. It will be held from 25th February 2008 to 28th February 2008 (9.00 am to 5 .00 pm) and the venue of the course will be in CoIT, UNITEN.

Basically, participants will learn how to develop a complete Flash-based game by using ActionScript 2.0. In just four days, they will learn how to create a complete 2D action game with graphics, music and sound effects. Hmm..sounds good for me since I’ve mastered none of those hehe..The course will be divided in five parts which are ‘Part 1: Creating the Gun‘, ‘Part 2: Creating the Bomb‘, ‘Part 3: Creating Challenge‘, ‘Part 4: Creating Levels‘ and the last one is ‘Part 5: Finalizing the Game‘.

Well, the fee is quite huge in amount which is RM800, but since it is done in four days, complete with lunch and refreshments, I think it is quite reasonable enough. Some previous participants claimed that although their knowledge in Flash is zero before this, but they still can follow the course. Hmm..value for money. I also feel like I want to go to this course since I don’t have enough time to digest all the free tutorials about Flash game from the web.
