Well, it seems there will might be a continuity of the Resident Evil franchise based on what Paul W.S. Anderson told MTV News. Based on what he said, he is just talking to Sony about it and there is a possibility that there will be a Resident Evil 4 movie.

Ermm..I’m one of the fan of the horror game series and I think the horror standard in the game and the movie is too far far far away. I love the chilled-horror-pee-in-the-pants feeling while playing the game and unfortunately the feeling is not carried inside the movie. Hope that the Resident Evil CGI Animated movie will do justice to the game that I love most (well, beside Grimm Fandago). If you like to know more, go read it at the MTV Movies Blog.
