Tekken Movie Trailer, The King of Iron Fist Tournament directed by Dwight Little
I just watched the latest movie trailer of the much awaited and anticipated game to movie adaptation of the whole decades. Yes, it is TEKKEN, The King of Iron Fist Tournament!!! Long Live Jin Kazama!!!
So, how do you think the trailer looks like? Is it enough to satisfy your lust as a hardcore Tekken game? Well, not for me at least. So sad… ![]()
Errm…first of all, I found that the looks of Jin Kazama, played by Jon Foo, is a little bit sissy and boy band looks. The haircut is not convincing enough. No element of tough, macho & muscular figure and sadistic-cruel facial expression like in the game series. The fighting choreography also is not something spectacular and amazing like what we experience during the beginning era of the game in 3D. I still remember the “Wow!” factor watching that combo movement. Now, the “Wow!” factor is not there inside the trailer. Perhaps, the looks and style of Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa as the legendary Heihachi Mishima can save the day. Whatever it is, I hope that this game adaptation movie which is produced by Crytal Sky Pictures and directed by Dwight H. Little will not be so little in ticket collection and so little in performance like what our Dragon Ball Evolution friends are experiencing. Else, you’ll ruin the whole Tekken franchise for another decades. For more info on this Tekken film, you can read it here or you can visit this Crystal Sky website (looks sad with little design taste) for more update. |
