Well, I think everybody around the globe has already knew that the ‘Halo 3′ video game is already creating a history where it breaks the entertainment sales record by raking in USD170 million in one day. And every news or press try to compare it with the Harry Potter’s book sales opening and Spiderman’s opening release in cinema. If they want to compare the collection by the dollar, I don’t think that it will be fair because the video game is a different genre from the book and the movies. Besides, the average price of each of them is different. If they really need to benchmark it, they should compare it with the number of people buying the items. That looks more fair and better to compare.

Anyway, although there are some discs that are having problem of scratches because of the packaging, it doesn’t stop the madness of the gamers to queue and try out the Halo 3 in their XBox 360. The first guy that got the copy had ‘camped’ outside the store for nearly 24 hours, maybe more. A regular copy is around USD60 and the special version which comes with the replica of  Master Chief’s helmet will be around USD130. I personally would like to try out this game when it comes to my country. Maybe just buy the regular one. For the helmet, hmm.. maybe I’ll DIY from the manila card, glue and scissors.
