KRU Studios will be the distributor for a 3D animation film titled ‘Sunshine Barry & The Disco Worms’. This is the first international animation film that KRU Studios will distribute and its CEO (Chief Executive Officer), Norman Abdul Halim is really excited about it. For your info, Disco Worms is a Denmark product and it is directed by Thomas Borch Nielsen who previously has won some awards during Brussels International Film Festival and Robert Festival.

This film is about a young earth worm named Barry who boring and fed-up of being a worm (the bottom of the food chain)until one day he accidentally stumbled upon an old disco record. That old record marks the beginning of Barry’s next phase of exciting and meaningful life. Since then, Barry mission is to start the world’s greatest Boogie disco band. His band called ‘Sunshine Barry And The Disco Worms’ consists of Barry as the lead vocalist and keyboard, Tito (bass), Gloria (vocalist), Jimmy (guitarist) and Donna (drummer). They encounter many challenges and adventures including being captured as the bait during their journey to enter the upcoming annual song contest.
