Below is latest movie poster from the upcoming “The Raven” movie. In this film, John Cusack takes on the role of a legendary writer and author who is Edgar Allan Poe. Wow!! Never in my life thinking that one day my favourite ghost and horror author will be filmed, although in a fictional way.

From the film summary, there is a mad serial killer in town whose murders technique and modus operandi is based on the story written by Edgar Allan Poe. Something like a copycat inspired by what he reads from the novels and storybooks. Hence, with the full sense of responsibility and obligation (think of CSR, Corporate Social Responsibility), Edgar Allan Poe then work together and team up with a young Baltimore detective, played by Luke Evans, to hunt down and capture that psychotic serial killer. So, that’s where the tagline movie is coming from which is “The Only One Who Can Stop  a Serial Killer is the Man who Inspired Him“.  Clever!!

Since this movie is directed by James McTeigue, the same director who also directed “V for Vendetta” film, I anticipate that the storyline must be kinda interesting. Furthermore, the lead role is played by John Cusack who is best known for his roles in “Con Air” and “2012” films. Hmm..Can’t wait to watch this.
