I’ve found a site where they put the latest pictures of The Dark Knight movie which is the sequel to the Batman Begins. Lots of Batman and Joker pictures. You can view them at  Comics2Film website. This Dark Knight film will be directed by the same Christopher Nolan from Batman Begins and Christian Bale will also continue to play Batman aka Bruce Wayne. This time, Health Ledger, the gay guy from Brokeback Mountain will play The Joker. Hmm..a very interesting decision has been made by the director. Can he live up to the high demand of Joker’s fan expectation? Who knows, maybe this time Ledger could win an Academy Award for this role.

The interesting thing is, one of Alan Moore’s famous comic book which is Batman: Killing Joke was given to Ledger in order for him to prepare for this Joker’s role. Luckily, I have read the book and this comic book has a very, very different ending for the Batman vs Joker stories. You have to read it to believe why I said this time it is a very unique confrontation. Inside the book, it tells the flasback of how The Joker become The Joker. The comic book is a classic, both in terms of the storyline and also the unique drawing of the cover (SMILEEE!!!).

Anyway, I still like Jack Nicholson as The Joker in Batman movie (1989) which starred Michael Keaton as Batman/Bruce Wayne. The pairs are classic. Nobody can beat the Michael Keaton’s mouth shape when he donned the cape. Sometimes I think that if Jim Carrey is already famous at that time, maybe he will get the Joker’s role as his craziness character might suit The Joker. Right now, we only can just wait and see as the film will be released in cinema on July 18, 2008 which is less than a year from now. Anyway, the website is pretty disappointing because if you click on the Batman big logo, it will redirect you to the poster of Harvey Dent which is one of the Batman’s villain who is the Two Face.
