“African Adventure 3D: Safari in the Okavango” at IMAX Theatre

Now, you got a chance to “walk” closely with the dangerous (also endangered) animals of Africa. The IMAX show titled “African Adventure 3D: Safari in the Okavango” just open a few days ago. 25th September to be exact. But you can only watch it at IMAX Theatre in Arizona Mills. Sighh…..
The six-stories high and eight-stories-wide screen of IMAX Theatre will let the audiences to get “up and personal” with the many popular and famous African animals such as hippotamus, crocodiles, elephants, lions and the flock of birds. You can feel the elephants swinging their trunk at your face (SMACK!!!) or follow the lions just a few feet from their butt. A very wonderful experience, isn’t it? No smell of their dung. The duration of this whole 3D IMAX experience will be around 40 minutes. For your info, Okavango Delta is a unique wilderness area where it was created by the flood waters of the Okavango. The size of it is around 20,000 square km and it is so large that it can be spotted from the outer space like a giant hand shape. That Okavango Delta area contains a maze of lagoons, islands and channels which forms one of the most beautiful wildlife reserves on Earth. Hail Greenpeace!! Ohhh..How I wish I can watch those big and gigantic crocodiles without afraid being their food. I wish one day, I could effort to join one of the African safari trip. Hopefully I can watch Gustave, the legendary monster croc live from the “safe” platform. That will be AWESOME!! |
